Prostate Cancer is Curable is the sixth book written by Santiago Vilas, Ph.D., former professional journalist in Spain and university professor in the U.S.A. A prostate cancer patient/survivor himself, he was diagnosed while already researching for his first book on prostate anomalies. His project received warm reception by eminent specialists in the U.S.A., Mexico, Japan, Denmark and Spain, who contributed with valuable data and statistics, partly not published at the time yet. Additionally, Vilas interviewed personally over 100 prostate cancer patients from seven countries. The result is his newest book, Prostate Cancer is Curable, considered to become a classic in the prostate awareness field.

Incidentally, Vilas' treatment is described in his book, in the chapter "The Author"; it reveals that his PSA test has been registering < 0.01 ng/ml every 6 months since treatment in June 2002.
